I hope the retirement home is pretty.
Today in a class I was teaching I made a Kelly Kapowski from Saved by the Bell reference. One person got it. Everyone else just gave me a blank look. Then they told me I’m old. When did 24 become old? August 22, 2005 at four pm. I’ll try to refrain from such obviously archaic pop culture references in the future, but I doubt I’ll be able to. Instead, I’m just going to be content with the knowledge that I am very able to beat anyone in that class in a game of 90’s Trivial Pursuit. And who knows? Maybe that’ll be the final. Teaching is fun.
i thought saved by the bell was something everybody knew about, regardless of age…. your students are obviously inferior.
