Is bowling in the Olympics?
A realization: everything I know I learned by watching television. This is why I cannot bowl.
Yes, I cannot bowl. I’m still scoring about a forty each time. Or less. It’s sad. It wouldn’t be quite as sad if the bars at bowling alleys weren’t so expensive. But it is what it is.
Bowling is one of the things I suck at yet I keep doing for some reason. Oh yeah. I remember why I keep doing it–to appease the masses. And because I enjoy throwing neon-colored objects at things. I also like the little computer-ish thingies you keep score on, and making up bowling names. And any sport that essentially takes place in a bar, well…it’s worth a shot, right?
And I’ll always have miniature golf. Though I’m abysmal at that as well, who can really insult your ability at a sport with “miniature” in the name? And you get a big stick to carry around. That usually keeps the hecklers somewhat quiet.
