Adventures in gardening or something like that.

So the other day Matt and I were at Smith’s, which is essentially a Utah supermarket plus clothes plus miscellaneous items. Like Wal-Mart, but not Wal-Mart. Does that make sense?

It really doesn’t matter if you have any idea what I’m talking about. The real story is this: we found a pot shaped like the head of Michelangelo’s David. So of course, I bought it. Then we planted some grass seed in it. David needs some more hair. It’s classy. I can’t wait for the grass to grow. Perhaps I can act out my desire for a puppy upon the grass instead. It is a living thing, after all. I can nurture it or something.

Of course, first I will have to learn how to nurture.

  1. It’ll be like a chia pet… without the pet part. A chia David pet?

  2. Yep. Except I just discovered it’s actually the head of Venus de Milo. Who looks almost exactly like David. Weird.
