It’s learning, not wasting time.
So there’s a new thing that I’m addicted to, and unfortunately it’s not my homework. It’s this map thing where you have to find places on the world map. I’m not talking countries, though, I’m talking more specific. Cities. It turns out I’m either a really good guesser or I have actually retained some knowledge from seventh-grade social studies. Or possibly, a combination of both.
So anyway, it lets me play and think that I’m learning at the same time. Because you never know when you might need to pinpoint Oslo, Norway on a map in under ten seconds. It’s too bad they don’t have a Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego tv game show for adults. And I also miss the chief. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
