And etc…

Ok, this is my post in which I mainly post to say that I’m alive. Yeah, I’m alive. I’ve been doing some serious slacking and lounging during the last few weeks, and blogging doesn’t necessarily fit under those categories. However, playing The Sims does.

On Christmas we spent the day watching Lord of the Rings. Unfortunately, our DVD player disagreed with that decision by the third DVD…drastic measures had to be taken…and we hooked up a computer to the television to continue watching. Because that took the better part of a half hour, we only made it through the first two films. We watched the last one the next day. And that about sums up our holiday vacation. We sat on the couch, played on the Internet, and watched movies/television. Sometimes things broke, and chaos (lazy, slow chaos) ensued. And now we’re looking into a DVD player that isn’t so selective about our choice of entertainment. Is there something in the Two Towers that would be offensive to an electronic device? I mean, besides magic? It liked the fourth disc (part two of movie two), though, so I think it was just messing with us in an effort to help us burn the five calories we gained that day…because we were also too lazy to cook, and all the restaurants in Utah are closed on that day (Christmas, I mean…also, Thanksgiving, and I think New Year’s Eve…which is why that had it on Saturday here…blasphemers!).

In case you were wondering, my new year’s resolution is to continue to be awesome. Oh yeah, and don’t get arrested. I’m feeling pretty good about those.

Anyways, school starts this Monday, and I have a lot of television to watch before then. I’m trying to enculturate Matt into the wonder that is Buffy. Wish me luck.
