I think I try too hard to be entertained.
I’m sitting here watching The Oscars and I’m much more interested in putting stuff on my new 2 gig flash drive. What does this say? I’m personally hoping it’s more of a statement about the quality of this year’s Academy Awards than about me and my geekiness.
Am I the only person who thinks the interpretive dancing is the best part? And who only saw one of the movies nominated for best picture (Little Miss Sunshine)? The family in that movie sort of reminds me of mine, except that this family all gets along in the end. And how many times is Al Gore going to be on stage? He’s gained some weight, methinks. PLEASE don’t run for president. I just had a horrible vision of an Al Gore/John Kerry ticket. Gah. Maybe we should just invent a presidential robot already. AI, anyone? At least there’d be some “I” then.
