Do people look like certain names?
So I’ve noticed that when people forget my name, they always jump to the same name–Amber. In case you have forgotten, my name is Amanda. So, do I look like an Amber or something? Act like an Amber? Well, I guess I shouldn’t generalize about how people named Amber act. I don’t actually know any. This is the second time in less than a week that I’ve been called Amber by a professor. I haven’t been too memorable lately…or others have been particularly forgetful. Or I’m really giving out an “Amber” vibe. I wish I knew what that entailed…Hell, maybe I should just change my name. I don’t want to say anything about my opinion of the name for fear of insulting others. Suffice to say, I don’t feel like an Amber. What do y’all think?

I’ll admit, I’ve accidentally called you Amber before. I don’t know why. I felt bad afterwards, though. And you can’t start going by Marcy(i) because that’s my name.
