In Washington.

I’ll be in Washington (state, not capital…I don’t legislate) for the next week or so. I’ll be sleeping on the cold, hard ground, and not because I’m homeless. No, because that’s what camping is. At least, that’s MY understanding of what camping is. Yeah, I don’t know why I agreed to it either. I’m pretending it’ll be character-building. Because I need more character? At least it’ll be a little break from technology and all the stuff that comes with it.

So we’ll be in Kalaloch, which is part of Olympia National Park, on the beach. Or near the beach. But since it’s Washington, I’m sure beach doesn’t mean warm. Yay. At least I have two unread Twilight books to keep me company. Well, and Matt. He’s harder to read, though.

Let’s hope Matt’s extended extended relations (who we don’t actually know) aren’t serial killers who lure people to campgrounds in order to murder them. If they are, well, I’m going to be a little upset about the camping locale.

We’re leaving at four am tomorrow morning. So…see ya.

  1. Don’t you get enough character building with the in-laws? Camping blows. It’s fine if you have to do it in terms of survival only. You know, everybody lived in tents until they discovered homes. You killing your own food, too? Maybe you will enjoy this trip so much you’ll canoe your way back to Utah. Go Green.
    Have fun.

  4. You know, camping still blows. In case you were wondering. Even more so when it rains most of the time…
