I am Amanda Bemer, an Iowan who is currently living in Logan, Utah and masquerading as a PhD student in Theory and Practice of Professional Communication at Utah State University. And Etc is where I live online. In the academic world I like to call myself Amanda Metz Bemer in the off chance that I’ll be an accomplished and respected scholar someday. Then students can get really frustrated trying to figure out how to cite me. I’m fun like that.
I also have hobbies. I just don’t know what they are yet. Does walking to class count? Of course, I actually don’t like that. Are you supposed to like your hobbies? Watching TV. Renting movies at the Redbox for one dollar. And eating food from Panda Express. Those are my hobbies. Or maybe they’re just my turn-ons. I get those confused. ;)
